Since its inception, IRTE has been incessantly working towards developing a positive road user culture in the country. IRTE's journey since 1991 has dwelt upon catalyzing development of infrastructure in the fields of traffic engineering, traffic enforcement, collision investigation and analysis, driver training and testing systems, public participation and road safety education. Most of our research initiatives have delivered proven results, which can be adapted in developing countries for improving the basis of traffic management.

We at IRTE recognize that good human resource is the backbone of a research organisation like ours, without which, we wouldn't be able to deliver the high quality results IRTE is associated with, our team comprises of: Transport Planners, Traffic Engineers, Software Technicians, Doctors, Automobile Engineers, Enforcement specialists amongst others.
