Embracing a Vision & Mission
Aim: Towards the creation of a Scientific Traffic Management System that can deliver
safety on the roads & catalyse the process of efficiency in traffic and transport
management. Such a process would help build the basis of a sustainable economy for
the country.
Vision: IRTE's College of Traffic Management has been created as a single umbrella
facility for research in all the domains of traffic management. Such need based
indigenous research is aimed at the creation of tools and systems of training, intended
for capacity building, for Road Safety Management in India and other developing
countries.
Mission: To make global roads efficient, accident free and tension free through
education, discipline, research and planning and to make people aware of value of life, so
that happiness prevails.
Values: Moving away from cut-paste to realistic, need-based indigenous research.
Research should open the gates to such knowledge which will lead towards the
development of tools and systems through which manpower capacity could be built,
creating sustainability in traffic and transport management.
PHILOSOPHY: To promote 'Atmanirbharta or sustainability ' in the areas of Traffic
Management & Forensic Science for our countries and society at large.
