Additionally, each student will opt one open
elective course and one Foundation Elective
Course provided by the MD university from the
p o o l o f t h e O P E N E L E C T I V E a n d
FOUNDATION COURSES . Theses Courses
are to be selected by the students in the
second, third and fourth semester. The
foundation elective courses however are
restricted to be chosen in the second semester.
After the completion of the second semester the
students shall proceed for their summer
vacation training (SVT) of 8 weeks duration in
the organisation assigned by the university /
Institutions. Thus the report prepared after the
completion of SVT shall be assessed in the third
semester as a compulsory course
