First Nations Road Safety Award instituted by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, Presented by Union Minister, General Khanduri on 16 th January 2003

The First British International Award presented outside the United Kingdom: Prince Michael International Road Safety Award to IRTE in 2001.

In 2018, the Prince Michael of Kent presented his Premier Award once again recognising the College as the Centre of Excellence in Road safety for South East Asia
