The Organization Development Centre (ODC) at Gurugram's Traffic Towers serves as a nodal hub to facilitate sustainable organisational excellence. It tackles challenges such as congestion, road rage, traffic collisions, and engineering inefficiencies through the comprehensive training and development of traffic personnel. By transforming traffic management from an individual-dependent activity to an institution-driven professional discipline, the ODC addresses critical gaps in urban road traffic management.

In yet another capacity-building program on Road Safety Management, sponsored by MoRTH, IRTE trained 52 participants, including 12 Police Sub-Inspectors, 27 PWD engineers, as well as engineers from NHAI, and Urban Local Bodies and Municipal Councils in the Chandigarh Capital Region.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India, IRTE conducted a capacity-building program for 32 Police Officers and Engineers at the Jaipur Commissionerate.

The Traffic Engineering Centre & Organization Development Centre were inaugurated on 22nd November 2024 at – Office of DCP (Traffic), Gurugram by Mr Shatrujeet Kapur IPS, DGP - Haryana, and Mr Unsoo Kim, MD - HMIL. Ceremony was presided over by Mr Vikas Arora IPS, Commissioner - Gurugram Police; Mr A Sreenivas IAS, CEO - GMDA Gurugram; and Mr Virender Vij, DCP (Traffic) in the presence of Mr Puneet Anand, Associate VP of HMIL, and Dr Rohit Baluja, President - IRTE.
